Working as a commercial photographer in a beautiful city like Paris sometimes makes childhood dreams come true. I love doing commercial photography and working as an advertising photographer, and a photoshoot with a vintage Citroën DS was a real treat.

I organized a commercial photoshoot on the banks of the Seine in Paris for a French automobile manufacturer. We were able to shoot with a beautiful vintage Citroën DS under the watchful eye of the Eiffel Tower.

We chose the banks of the Seine as our photoshoot location because of the cobble stones that give a magical air to the location. Our Citroën DS ran smoothly over the old cobble stones, thanks to its hydropneumatic suspension!

Well, I think Fantomas would be astonished!

We didn’t have to do much in terms of lighting, thanks to the natural light on the banks of the Seine. A few reflector panels and using bounce flash was all that was needed to complement the natural light at our advertising photoshoot! It’s easy to make a Citroën DS shine.

According to my customer’s wishes, my team made the pictures look vintage in post-production.
